History[]

Constructed as a HA-1112-M1L by Hispano at Spain, and taken on Strength/Charge with the Ejercito de Aire.[1] Following service with the EdA, this aircraft was registered to Spitfire productions as G-AWHN,[2] before becoming one of the aircraft acquired by Wilson 'Connie' Edwards, Edwards Lucian Wells Ranch Airport, Big Spring, TX.

Sold to Tillamook/Erickson in 1989, before moving on 11 December 1992 to Erickson Group Ltd, Beaverton, OR as N90602. Based at Tillamook Air Museum, Tillamook Airport (OTK), Sierra Vista, OR, it was photographed on 24 June 2012 by Terry Fletcher. On 21 April 2016, it moved to Avenger Llc, Beaverton, OR. A certificate of airworthiness was issued on 30 March 2017.[1]

Passed to Erickson Aircraft Collection, Madras, Oregon,[3] as N700E, it has been restored to fly with a lowered Allison V-1710 and fitted with genuine Bf 109 G-10 cowling and reconfigured tail unit.[4]
