Built in 1984,[1] this aircraft was delivered, as LN-NVC to Norving on 28 January 1985. Passed to Agderfly during April 1989, before joining Islandsflug as TF-ELF on 22 June 1993. Transfered to Iceland Air on 12 May 2001, it was acquired on 26 October 2004 by Landsflug, who amended the registration to TF-ADB on 22 December that year. Landsflug amended the registration, this time to TF-CSF, on 12 December 2005.

Registered on 9 February 2007 as TF-VMF to City Star Airlines, the registration was changed to TF-CSF during October 2007. On 27 March 2008, the aircraft became D-IFLM with Manx2, before moving to FLM Aviation in December 2012. Acquired by Aurigny Air Services as G-SAYE on 29 May 2015, it was passed on 1 September 2021 to ZeroAvia Ltd, who re-registered the aircraft as G-HFZA on 21 September.[2]

Following replacement of it's port Honeywell TPE-331 turboprop with a 600 kW powertrain, that draws power from two hydrogen fuel cell stacks integrated into the left wing, the aircraft carried out a 10 minute test flight from Cotswold Airport in Gloucestershire on 19 January 2023.[3]
