History[]

WG266 was delivered to the RAF College, Cranwell[1] on 10 December 1951[2] and received fuselage code N-B,[N 1] which it wore when photographed at Blackbushe Airport[1] on 4 September 1956, while visiting during Farnborough week.[3] Listed among the participants at the 1962 Biggin Hill Air Show,[4] WG266 was placed into storage with 5 MU at Kemble on 15 March 1966, before it was sent to the Cosford fire dump on 11 January 1967, where it subsequently perished.[2]
